The North Cottesloe Primary School Parents' & Citizens’ Association (P&C) is a vibrant, active group of parents and community members who work together to support our students, staff, and school community. By volunteering time, participating in events, or becoming a member, you help strengthen the rich learning environment that makes NCPS such an exceptional school.
The P&C is an entirely volunteer run, non-profit organisation. To make an impact, we rely on the enthusiasm and energy of the North Cottesloe community. We invite all parents within the school community to become members and get involved. Whether you have an hour to spare or want to join the committee in a formal role, many hands make light work.
Membership costs just $1 a year, with payment a formal requirement for receiving voting rights and coverage as a parent volunteer under our insurance policy.
Held twice a term, our meetings offer a friendly, low-pressure space to hear updates from school leadership and share ideas. There is no pressure to attend every meeting and we also offer a Zoom option for parents who can't join us in person at the school.
Lend a hand at sporting carnivals, volunteer at the canteen, become a class rep, get involved in working bees, or bake a treat for election day bake sales.
Nominate for a position on our executive committee, or volunteer to join a sub-committee such as fundraising, canteen, or grounds to coordinate projects with a small group.
Every year parents receive an invoice for voluntary P&C contributions, which eases the burden on fundraising events and volunteers. Every dollar is reinvested back into the school, supporting the learning experience of every student.
